This past summer, Bond Measure B monies have been put to use with a newly paved staff parking lot,
overhead mounted LCD projectors and speakers being installed in all classrooms, and a new electronic
marquee to be installed soon. At Monta Vista, the big project of a newly configured track and fields
will begin in June of 2010. Also next summer, crews will start work in the student parking lot,
installing elevated solar panels.

Blood Drive on November 6

Consider giving blood during the Monta Vista Blood Drive on Friday, November 6. The event
will be held in the Cafeteria, from 8 am to 2 pm. To learn more about the drive, sponsored

The Servant of Two Masters, November 6, 7, 13 and 14

Looking for some laughs? Come see MV's fall production of "The Servant of Two Masters"
With a blend of Commedia dell'arte, modern music and pop culture, you're sure to leave the
play laughing. Performances will be November 6, 7, 13, and 14 at 7:30 pm in the MV
Auditorium. Tickets are 8-10 dollars in advance, and 12 dollars at the door. Tickets
can be purchased in the rally court at lunch, from any cast member, or online at

Private University Application Deadline, Tuesday, Nov. 17

Seniors applying to a private college or university must submit all documents and forms to
the Registrar, Mrs. Kruse, by Tuesday, November 17. For a list of required documents and

Attention, class of 2010. It's time to turn in your senior quotes. This year, the quotes will

Google Form. The deadline to submit your quote is November 24. You also have the opportunity
to turn in baby pictures, using 1 of 2 options: you can either scan it at home and email it to us
